If you're seeking a memorable Italian dining experience, look no further than Salvinos, located at 1290 M-89 in Plainwell, MI. This hidden gem has garnered praise for its inviting atmosphere and well-executed comfort food that arguably surpasses chains like Olive Garden. Customers rave about the gluten-free pizza, with one satisfied patron declaring it the best they’ve ever tasted, particularly the meat lovers option.
While some diners note the menu offers limited gluten-free choices, the overall variety and quality make up for it. The tomato cream sauce is a standout, earning accolades for its rich flavor that keeps patrons coming back. Reviews frequently highlight the attentive service, with staff like Audrey ensuring timely delivery of meals and Tracy crafting excellent drinks. It’s no surprise guests feel right at home amid the multiple dining areas designed for comfort and relaxation.

Picked up some gluten free pizza and my gluten free friend said it was the best pizza he’s ever had! We got the meat lovers.

I actually really like this spot for what it's worth. High Italian comfort food that beats out olive garden any day. I'm a big sucker for their tomato cream sauce that's just good. Nothing too crazy again, just solid all around. I'd say the food is a little expensive for what it is, so unable to give a 5/5. The light beer pitchers are like 7 though so you have that going for you. Whenever I'm in town, I love stopping here for dinner!

Multiple dining areas away from all the bar activities. Many seating options and a large menu with limited gluten free options. No bun replacement options

Food was really good. Audrey brought out whatever we ordered, immediately after we asked, it felt like. Tracy makes amazing drinks too. Will be returning

Service was very good and so was my food. I got a cheeseburger with bacon. I really like the Char-Broil taste of the meat.

Took my wife here for date night tonight and what a great choice!! From the politeness of the hostess to the top notch, personable waitress Nikole E. That’s the kind of waitress every establishment needs! The drinks were tasty and came out fast and the food was just as great! We will definitely come again and ask to be sat in Nikoles section... She’s killing it!!!

Need better signs because people who wanted to dine went to the take out door, while people who wanted to take out went to the dining door. Meanwhile, a traffic jam occurred in the front take-out parking lot because people did not know the dinning door was at the side door so they parked up front, then the people getting take out could not get into the front parking lot because it is a dead end and everyone had to backout, but they couldn't back out until the dining people came back out of the takeout room. Meanwhile, I was stuck in a takeout parking space while everyone else sorted out their cars and discovered where they should park. They had the entire parking lot at a standstill and cars on the road could not pull in. Better signs would alleviate this jam.
